Situated in the Ria Formosa National Park, Quinta do Lago North is one of two 18 hole courses which weaves its way through the scenic 2,000 acre estate. Quinta do Lago Golf Club is always ranked in the top 25 courses in Europe and is a regular venue for the Portuguese Open. Quinta do Lago North Golf Course Description
The North Course, formally Ria Formosa Golf, is built on similar terrain to the Quinta do Lago South course but offers different challenges.
The fairways are not as generous from the tee, making accuracy a must. A trademark of the course is that all of the par 4s, with the exception of the 10th and 13th holes, are dog legs. The par 3s are all heavily influenced by the wind and require a great deal of thought and careful club selection. Quinta do Lago golf courses are an excellent addition to any Algarve golf holiday.
