Boavista Golf Course is situated on a headland between Lagos and Praia da Luz in the Western Algarve. Boavista enjoys magnificent views of the Bay of Lagos and surrounding Monchique hills. As a new addition to the area’s golf courses, Boavista opened for play in 2001 and blends into the natural surroundings.

Offering two distinct sections and a variety of attractive and interesting holes, Boavista Golf Course provides a good test for the average player with fairways lined with umbrella pines and olive trees, weaving their way between water hazards and carefully placed bunkers. The signature hole is the stunning par 4, 7th hole set against a glorious backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean with views extending from Praia da Luz all the way to Sagres.
This impressive championship course was designed by Howard Swan, a past president of the European Institute of Golf Course Architects and its relaxed atmosphere and stunning location are attracting people from all over the world.
