The Vilamoura Old Course is the 2nd oldest course in the Algarve and is built to mirror that of many inland courses in the UK with a fairly straightforward start getting gradually more difficult as the round goes on.

Large pine trees line many of the fairways punishing any stray tee-shots and the greens are fairly small in size and also well guarded requiring accuracy and careful club selection on the approach shots.  Measuring 6800 yards from the back tees, the Old Course Vilamoura has a par of 73 and offers a wide variation of challanges from the long par 5 16th hole to the short par 3 15th and is a course enjoyed by many golfers of all abilities.

The Old Course is a favouite on most Algarve golf holidays and requires advance booking to secure a tee off time.
